Hello, world.
I'll be writing more this year.
A lot more.
I've been trying Medium and Substack. I've been on Medium forever. I've been on Substack for a week. Both are great, both have pros and cons, but both lack something I really want.
Native markdown support.
Markdown is a simple "markup language" that is a de-facto standard in AI.
I'm All-In on AI. 30% of my time goes to running Zendicate, 30% to Sighthound, and 40% to new projects. Almost every new project I am doing is rooted in AI, which itself is largely rooted in markdown.
I've written a whole framework of coding best-practices, guidelines, and rules in pure markdown called Warping. I want to share this work, but I end up fighting Medium and Substack to include markdown in its John-Gruber-Given native format.
So here I am - Ghost supports markdown. It does a bunch of other really nice things too.
I'll be writing on all three for a few weeks.. but I'm really liking ghost.io so far.
